Featured Artists
In 2021, a partnership formed with Ptr Sponseller of Clover Gear Reclaimed Art and Jared Bednar of YellowBug Creative to create custom, 3-dimensional art pieces for Topeka Zoo Lights. Once a display focus is developed, Clover Gear fabricates the entire structure out of metal, hand-bending each section to create the organic curves. YellowBug then applies lighting applications that amplifies the design and finishes the piece. This year the pair brings a unique sculpture to the center of Free State Business Center.
On November 25, 2024 a giant green turtle was unveiled at a special preview event, illuminated for all to see. This year, we invite you to visit us in the evenings through the holiday season to enjoy the color and fun outside of our business complex with a new featured sculpture. If you appreciate what you see, we ask that you pass along the good cheer by supporting a local nonprofit.
